Our client wanted a home that could earn her rental income straight away, but also feel like a future family home if she ever decided to move from Sydney. Referred to SenSé Homes by a trusted consultant, she chose a dual key design with a few thoughtful upgrades to make both sides feel special – skylights, 40mm stone benchtops, and 2,750mm high ceilings. We worked closely with Lisa to create a property that ticked all the boxes: stylish, functional, and built to last. Today, both units are rented, giving her a steady income, while keeping the option open to move in one day. This project shows how the right design and quality finishes can make a dual key home not just an investment, but a place you’ll be proud to call your own.
"I bought land in Thornton and met with Taylor from SenSé, who explained their building packages and showed me a sample home at Bellbird. I was impressed. After comparing several major builders, I found SenSé to be the most accommodating and willing to design the home I wanted. Nathan designed the plans for my home. He listened to all my requests - like external bathroom windows, highlight windows for natural light, and maximising the land for rental income - and also gave practical advice on what was possible and cost-effective. Unlike big builders with fixed packages, Nathan revised the plans many times until we found the right solution. Joshua and Nathan made the building application process simple, guiding me from design through to council approval. The build took around eight months, from October 2024 to May 2025, which was within the original estimate. All colours, tiles, and kitchen selections were completed before work began, and throughout construction I could always contact Joshua for updates. After handover, any minor issues were fixed quickly. There were no major defects, and I’m very happy with my new home. SenSé is a trustworthy builder, and I would definitely build with them again."
